As part of a studio-wide project with Cambridge Cyrenians, a homeless charity who use an allotment as part of their work to provide structure and routine for those in need, a seating area was designed and built as part of a wider building project.
Originally briefed as a 'Bothy Pod', the core ideas of a place of relaxation and solace were translated to a semi-private seating area with a raised viewing area that allows those who wish for respite to have some time for themselves.
